It is UNACCEPTABLE to:
- Discuss patient issues in public areas.
- Discuss patience issues with patience in a curtained area.
- Leave charts exposed in public area.
- Leave patience information on computer screens, when you leave your
work area.
- Leave test results in public areas.
- Release any information either written, electronically or verbally
without prior written consent from the patient.
- Remove any patient’s records from the office without
consent.
- Have telephone conversations on patients issue without being in a
private area.
